In-person and virtual counseling for individuals with acute and chronic illness, caregiver support, grief & bereavement, women's health issues and support for adults & young adults in Pennsylvania

Here for you through illness, caregiving, grief, women’s wellness and navigating different life stages

Wendy and her team integrate a range of evidence-based therapies, from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to Family Systems and Bibliotherapy, along with relaxation and breathing techniques that support the body’s natural ability to regulate and restore. This therapeutic style emphasizes nurturing self-compassion and self-love throughout your journey.

Are you experiencing any of the following struggles? We focus on those with or needing support around:

  • Acute and Chronic Illness

  • Caregiver Support

  • Grief and Bereavement

  • Women's Health Issues

  • Life Transitions (education, career, relationships, empty nesting, retirement)

In addition to adults, couples and families, we also work with young adults (over 16 years of age) as they navigate life transitions — graduating from high school to college, as well as adjusting from a school environment to work “in the real world” — to marriage or family — or a career change later down the road.

OUR MISSION:

Strengthening Mind, Body and Spirit

Bringing together evidence-based practices and holistic insight to support total well-being, focusing on 7 Pillars of Wellness:

Mind

We focus on your brain function and how you process thoughts and feelings using breathing, relaxation and mindfulness exercises to de-stress, along with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Family Systems and Bibliotherapy.

Body

We focus on your physical wellness by teaching you how to advocate for your unique health or medical needs, which includes (but not limited to) movement, nutrition and rest.

Spirit

This is not as clear cut as our body and mind and not talked about or regularly focused on as part of a wellness program, but it should be. Our spirit is housed in our human hearts both physically and emotionally — and we need to understand better how to nurture our souls. Our ultimate intention is to foster gratitude in order to develop resiliency and the relationship we have with ourselves and others.

“You gain strength by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.
You must do the thing you cannot do.”

Eleanor Roosevelt
